Our price, and the fee charged separately
All amounts include 21% VAT. You pay the fee directly to the bureau; it does not go through us and we do not earn anything from it.
Why we separate the fee
A trade mark attorney works on an hourly rate, and a bureau gives you a quote in which the fee and the fee are on one line. Then you do not know what you pay for the work and what simply goes to the register — and therefore you cannot compare anything.
With us there is one amount for the preliminary work and one amount for the fee. That preliminary work is where things go wrong with self-filing: the conflict search and the class selection. You then file the application yourself in your own account at the bureau, so that the mark is registered in your name and not in that of an intermediary.

The mark search is intentionally on the free side. If you have to pay first to hear that your name is already taken, you pay for bad news — and that is precisely the moment when you should be able to trust us.
The bureau fee
That is separate from our fee and goes directly to the bureau. The amount depends on the number of classes: the first class is included in the basic amount, each additional class costs extra. With your application we calculate the exact amount for you and add the date it was checked — last check: 19 August 2026. The rates themselves can be found at the BOIP and the EUIPO; we do not reproduce them in a sentence that will no longer be correct tomorrow.

Both optional, and both can be cancelled at any time. Monitoring is not an obligation but the answer to the question that comes after registration: a mark you do not monitor does not defend itself.

marcai — trademark monitoring is one of Theos' 37 systems. When you subscribe to multiple systems on one company profile, you pay less for each additional system — automatically, on one invoice.
