Register your trademark with BOIP or EUIPO
Coming up with a name, having a logo designed and working with it for years does not give you any right to that name. Someone else can have it registered as a trademark and then prohibit you from using it — even if you started using it first. A trademark registration reverses that: ten years of protection, renewable indefinitely. We do the preparatory work, you file yourself.
The check is free and takes a minute. No account, no email address needed in advance.
What entrepreneurs say about this
"Isn't my name registered at the Chamber of Commerce anyway?"
That is a trade name, and it only protects against confusion in the same region and sector. A trademark is different: it gives you the right to prohibit others from using it, throughout the Benelux or the entire EU. And the Chamber of Commerce does not check whether your name already exists as a trademark.
Trade name or trademark? →"A firm asked me for almost €1,400."
That can be correct, and that includes a representative who conducts the procedure for you. With us you pay a service fee for the preparatory work and the fees directly to the office — those are listed separately instead of being included. What you get is the same trademark, in the same register.
What does a trademark cost? →"I'll do it myself, it's just a form."
You can, and it is cheaper. Where it goes wrong is the class selection: too few classes and your trademark does not protect where it should, too many and you pay for nothing and increase the risk of a conflict. That is where the refusals come from, and that is precisely the part we do.

We search the public trademark registers: the BOIP register for the Benelux, the EUIPO register for Union trademarks, and TMview which brings together the European offices. These are the same sources a trademark representative consults — they are public, and we tell you which ones we have consulted and when.
The texts in the knowledge base are written with AI, go through a technical review that traces every figure and every deadline back to a source, and are approved by a person before they go online. See how we work.
What this is not: we are not a trademark representative and do not provide legal advice. The conflict scan is an indication and never a guarantee. Other providers promise "100% guarantee"; we do not do that anywhere, because no one can. An office can refuse a trademark on grounds that are not in any register, and the holder of an earlier trademark can always object. If an opposition is pending or a refusal arrives, we transfer the file to a trademark representative; we do not conduct those matters ourselves.
